To the rosy clouds in the western sky.

Are young brides in the setting sun; . z _5 f2 F) a" G
! ~" f% j) ^6 U! |' h) E Their reflections on the shimmering waves ( V! H- s4 Z8 @. d9 S/ ~
0 V" @0 C" H8 Y Always linger in the depth of my heart. ) L- Q+ N1 Z8 }4 J( x/ @6 d

The floating heart growing the sludge ( ~/ Q7 u+ I( T5 a$ T

Sways leisurely under the water; + s' o6 n# J& }; q; v! O" H
0 b* U) N. H5 H: y/ J7 G In the gentle waves of Cambridge ) a) e* h3 \! w5 m$ g) m: U
7 b6 y8 y( n8 p. ]% r3 j! `( Q I would be a water plant!

That pool under the shade of elm trees

Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;

9 g# d7 f0 E" Q5 ]9 w' O1 Q+ I Shattered to pieces among the duck weeds

Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream?

1 j$ a3 ~) Y8 G/ ? To seek a dream?

Just to pole a boat upstream ( a) [/ {7 O) J& f3 h9 B4 w
& ^3 _" g' C7 n! R! v7 x; I, G6 r% x To where the green grass is more verdant & l x3 m" t: p6 p& {& i
1 i! L8 S G7 J r" _, o0 p n Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight

Quietness is my farewell music;
